While it may sound like clickbait, it’s actually a fascinating experiment I conducted recently.
If you know me, you’re aware of my love for trying new things and my passion for entrepreneurship. I always encourage others to explore their own ventures.
I’m constantly seeking knowledge and sharing my experiences. Previously, I created a video on mastering a new skill within 30 days by dedicating just an hour each day (check out the video in the comments).
This time, I embarked on a different endeavor.
Over the past 2 years, I’ve been using a 5-year memory book, and it has been life-changing. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s simple yet effective: each day (e.g., July 18th) has a dedicated page with 5 sections for notes, representing subsequent years (e.g., 2023, 2024, 2025…). It allows you to easily revisit your thoughts from exactly 1, 2, 3, and 4 years ago.
While I adore my trusty paper book, carrying it everywhere has become cumbersome. So, I decided to create a digital version, now conveniently accessible on my e-ink tablet, ensuring my notes are always within reach.
Crafting the digital version took me roughly 4 hours, resulting in a 366-page PDF. Each page consists of 5 lines and the date at the top.
Once completed, I uploaded the document to Etsy and shared a post across 3 Facebook groups.
The outcome? In just one day, I received 762 views, secured 29 orders, and generated $257 in revenue.
Now, let’s set the context straight:
I’m not an influencer. I didn’t rely on personal connections to promote my product.
These are digital products. While this was an experimental project, these items will continue to generate revenue in the future.
The top templates in this niche have amassed tens of thousands of sales, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.
I plan to create a comprehensive case study detailing the creation process of this product. If you’re intrigued and want access, simply like this post and leave a comment with “PDF.”
