Last time I was in NY I’ve seen this surprising situation on the way to the subway.
Apparently the New York subway prohibited dogs from riding, except if they could fit into a bag, which presented a challenge for owners of larger dogs.
However, it wasn’t long before they discovered a workaround.
The workaround involved the fact that the regulations only specified that the dog must be contained in a bag, without any size restrictions on the bag itself.
As a result, what did they do? Precisely as you might expect: they sought out larger bags.
